These medals were likely produced in Birmingham, England, by skilled medalists who catered to the American market, reflecting the international admiration for Washington's achievements.
Glossy, brassy well-preserved surfaces are even throughout, with olive-toned surfaces and no distracting marks to note. Overall a well preserved example with a good strike, with the usual weakness seen.
