1827 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS MS65 CAC O-106
Brilliant luster and vibrant color coat the impressively preserved surfaces of this gem. The coin is a joy in hand, and rotating it in the light reveals a spectrum of pleasing pastels on top of the dead-original gumetal surfaces.
Donald Parsley put this coin at the top of the O-106 condition census in 2013. We cannot find evidence of any at the same grade level (or higher) in public auction since, making this coin the sole finest known.
