A surprisingly tough and underrated date, the 1858 is one of the scarcest 1850’s Double Eagles. Original, unmolested surfaces and rosy toning throughout the periphery confirm the eye appeal of this piece. Traces of luster peaking out from the crust, we wish they all looked like this.
