This splendid Choice XF example displays original, yellow-gold surfaces with crusty fields. Sharp definition is displayed on both the obverse and reverse. . It is understated the difficulty in finding unabraded CC Double Eagles with original color, and the coin obviously was well deserving of the bean. Despite that the issue is available in abunance, we feel that a charming example like this is a tremendous value with gold at all time high levels.
