The mintage of V nickels dropped to a scant 2,315 in 1893. At PCGS, there are only 13 DCAM 1893's graded, less than .6% of the original mintage. This amazing, nearly superb gem proof offers razor sharp definition and watery black and white contrast throughout the coin. The devices retain a tremendous amount of frost, making this a top-quality piece. Try crossing anything to CACG as a +, and you will see that they are awarded very sparingly, and only to the cream of the crop for that grade level.
